North Country Council planning serves 51 communites in the northern part of New Hampshire....
About the Region:
- There are 3,418 square miles in our planning region
- Our region consists of fifty-one communities and twenty-five unincorporated areas
- Out of the fifty-one communities, forty-four are current members of NCC
- There are three counties within our region, all of Coos County and parts of Grafton and Carroll Counties
- Our Region’s population is 83,826 (2000 US Census)
Our Economic Development District includes all fifty-one communities in the NCC planning region and an additional ten towns in the Upper Valley Lake Sunapee Regional Planning Commissin (Piermont, Orford, Lyme, Hanover, Lebanon, Dorchester, Canaan, Orange, Grafton, and Enfield) as well as six towns in the Lakes Region Planning Commission (Hebron, Bridgewater, Bristol, Alexandria, Holderness, and Ashland).
