Economic Development Coordinator
North Country Council is the economic development district and regional planning commission responsible for the northern third of N.H. We are looking for an Economic Development Coordinator with experience in economic development planning and implementation. Primary responsibilities will be regional economic development planning and strategy, project development, grant writing and grant administration. Must be familiar with federal, state and private foundation funding sources for economic development projects (EDA, CDFA/CDBG, BFA, NHCF etc.). Familiarity with business development, finance, lending and an economic development finance certification a plus.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelors degree in economics, business, or a closely related field, or comparable experience in the field. Must have the ability to travel, including night meetings and conferences, and have excellent written and oral presentation skills.
