Community Planning Committee
The Community Planning Committee was developed under the Community Outreach Program. The Committee meets quarterly to discuss new planning techniques and programs and to share information on planning projects and proposals occuring in their communities.
Committee members
Each member town is encouraged to have a planning board representative to serve on the committee.

Community Planning Committee Meetings
- January 25, 2007 - The meeting was based on Transportation Planning with specific presentations and discussions on Context Sensitive Solutions, Scenic Byways and Class VI Roads. Ram Maddali from the New Hampshire Department of Transportation presented information to the Committee on Context Sensitive Solutions, a new collaborative planning and design process for transportation projects. Carol Barleon from the Office of Energy and Planning presented information on the National Scenic Byways Program, including regional projects completed through the program and upcoming funding opportunities through the next grant round. Stacey Doll from North Country Council explained how the planning boards should be involved in both important programs. The Committee, with the help of Stacey, went over Class VI roads policies and discussed options for regulating those roadways.
